Ian Brown Teaches Ting Tings How To Be Naughty

added 28 August 2008 at 12.05

Manc legend Ian Brown has been teaching Salford duo The Ting Tings how do deal with the god-darn irritating press.

The former-Stone Roses front man met up with Katie and Jules whilst touring around the globe, and in an exclusive interview with Xfm’s Katie P at last weekend's Reading/Leeds Festival, the Salford duo told all about their experience.

“Ian Brown gave us some really good tips. He was like ‘What you doing?’ and we were off doing promo. He taught us how to say ‘No’ to promo. Because if he doesn’t want to, he just says ‘No’. He’s very rebellious.”

And The Ting Ting's Katie seems to of taken Brown's advice. She said: “The next day I had this phone interview with an Australian/New Zealand radio show, and I let it ring. I felt naughty, it felt good.”
