Last.fm is now featuring a slate of artist interviews, part of a broader, video-based push into original programming.  The initial batch includes South-by-Southwest interviews with Moby, Josh Radin, Steve Aoki, and Spoon, the beginnings of something broader.  "Nowhere else on the web will you find your favorite artists talking so candidly about what makes them the musicians they are today," said Last.fm cofounder Martin Siskel.

The original programming will eventually include live performances and other video-related segments, a fresh direction for the recommendation and networking destination.  The content is being syndicated by parent company CBS across a variety of sites, including Joost, Bebo, AOL and NetVibes.  The action is happening at last.fm/presents.
