Jimmy Wenman has pleaded not guilty in court

A man pleaded not guilty to attacking Freddie Fuller, the boyfriend of Sugababes' Amelle Berrabah at Winchester Crown Court today.

Jimmy Wenman, a 29 year-old from Bentley, was accused of wounding Fuller with intent on Christmas Eve in Aldershot last year.

Fuller was severely injured allegedly as a result of the attack.

BBC News reports that Wenman has been released on conditional bail and will return to court to stand trial on November 17.
